Do you know? In German, each noun is capitalized, not simply correct names.
Phrases like Schlange (snake), Zeit (time), and Spaß (enjoyable) all the time start with a
capital letter when used as nouns, even in the midst of a sentence!
This capitalization may also assist distinguish phrases that in any other case look equivalent,
similar to essen (“to eat”) and Essen (“meals” or the town of Essen).
