Ravenpass: an open-source password supervisor in Go, constructed with Wails v3 – Releases

Hello Gophers,

I’d wish to share Ravenpass, an open-source, GPL-3.0-licensed password supervisor for macOS and Android, with a Chrome extension. Practically all of it’s Go.

I began it as a result of I wished a password supervisor with no account and no server: the vault is a single encrypted file, and also you determine the place it lives. Maintain it in your system, or put it in a cloud drive folder to open the identical vault in your pc and telephone.

The way it’s constructed

  • Moveable vault core: packages/vault is obvious Go along with no platform code. Every file is sealed with XChaCha20-Poly1305 from x/crypto, keys are derived with the usual library’s crypto/hkdf, and the PIN is stretched with Argon2id.
  • One codebase, two platforms: each apps run on Wails v3 (beta) and share the identical Go companies and React UI.
  • Skinny platform adapters: Safe Enclave or Android Keystore for unlocking, and the system’s personal autofill for passwords, passkeys and two-factor codes.
  • Importers: export codecs from different password managers are learn by separate Go packages.

Strive it

On macOS (Apple silicon):

brew faucet dortanes/ravenpass https://github.com/dortanes/ravenpass
brew set up --cask dortanes/ravenpass/ravenpass

The Android APK is on the Releases web page. To construct from supply, you want Go 1.27 and Node.js 24:

git clone https://github.com/dortanes/ravenpass.git
cd ravenpass
make deps
make desktop

I’d love to listen to your suggestions. Should you’ve shipped Wails v3 on Android, I’m curious the way it went for you.
